Study to produce regional freight strategic plan

The economic well-being of the region depends in large part on the reliable and efficient movement of freight and goods between producers and markets.

MARC and Kansas City SmartPort are working with consultant TranSystems to conduct the Kansas City Regional Freight Outlook Study for the metro area. The project will provide a freight strategic plan that helps the metro area remain a vital national freight transportation hub and attract freight growth to the region.
