Linking Environmental & Transportation PlanningECO-LOGICAL PROJECT WORKSHOPSIn early 2008, MARC was awarded funding from the Federal Highway Administration’s Eco-Logical grant program, which supports making infrastructure more sensitive to wildlife and ecosystems through greater interagency cooperation and conservation. In 2008 and 2009, MARC hosted a series of workshops featuring internationally known experts to share successful community efforts linking environmental and transportation planning from across the country.
