Getting to MARC: Directions and Parking

The MARC offices and conference center are located on the southwest corner of 6th Street and Broadway, in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, on the second floor of the Rivergate Center building.

Our office is easily accessible by car, bus, bike and on foot. By choosing to carpool, bike, walk, or ride the bus when possible, you can save money and help reduce traffic congestion, pollution and commuting stress.

Driving directions to MARC

From the east on I-70: Take I-70 West into downtown Kansas City; take the north side of the downtown loop (following signs for U.S. 24 West) to the Broadway exit. Turn left (south) on Broadway; immediately after crossing 6th Street, turn right into the Rivergate Center parking lot. Drive up the ramp and park on the upper level.

From the north on I-35: Take I-35 South to the Broadway exit. Turn left (south) on Broadway; immediately after crossing 6th Street, turn right into the Rivergate Center parking lot. Drive up the ramp and park on the upper level.

From the north on I-29:
Take I-29 South to U.S. 169 South (which becomes Broadway), across the Broadway Bridge. Immediately after crossing 6th Street, turn right into the Rivergate Center parking lot. Drive up the ramp and park on the upper level.

From the west on I-70: Take I-70 East to the Broadway exit. The exit ramp merges into 6th Street; turn right on Broadway and make an immediate right turn into the Rivergate Center parking lot. Drive up the ramp and park on the upper level.

From the south on I-35: Take I-35 North to the first Broadway exit (near 14th street). Turn left (north) on Broadway. After crossing 7th Street and passing the Rivergate Center building on your left, turn left into the parking lot (just before 6th Street). OR, continue north on I-35 to the second Broadway exit. The exit ramp merges into 6th Street; turn right on Broadway and make an immediate right turn into the Rivergate Center parking lot. Drive up the ramp and park on the upper level.

Parking

Free parking is available when visiting MARC. Visitors and guests should park on the upper level of the garage. To enter this level from Broadway, turn west into the Rivergate Center parking lot. Please use any of the available spaces on the upper level at the top of the ramp. From this level, you can walk directly into the MARC Conference Center lobby.

Bus

MARC is within walking distance of many bus routes that serve downtown Kansas City. The building is most directly served by the Metro's Route 106 (Quindaro), which travels on Broadway in front of the building.

Bike

Bicycle Parking – Four bike lockers are located on the southwest corner on the top level of the parking garage. Please contact the front desk at 816-474-4240 for the combination. Two bike racks are also available on the ground level at the northwest corner of the building.

Carpool

Share a ride with other commuters through RideShare.

Walk

Whether you're walking in from the bus or walking from a nearby location, MARC is easily accessible by walking. It is easier to cross Broadway at 7th Street rather than going to 6th Street.

Although the building address is 600 Broadway, the main entrances are off of Broadway. Ground level entrances are on the north (facing toward the highway) and west (facing toward the parking garage) sides of the building. A second floor entrance directly into the MARC lobby is connected to the upper level of the parking ramp. Stairs up to this entrance are on the west side of the building. If you are attending an evening or weekend event in the MARC Conference Center, you should enter through this entrance from the upper parking ramp.
